About us

SAGAnordic is an online shop offering a curated selection of vintage Japanese and Scandinavian objects.

The shop is run by a Danish husband and Japanese wife team who share a passion for interior design—but with different tastes and ideas. The fun, and the challenge, lies in staying open-minded, trying new ideas, and working together to achieve results that are stronger than what either of us could create alone. That collaborative spirit is at the heart of the experience we hope to share with you.

Everything on our webshop is carefully curated by us, with a focus on design and quality that can shine in any interior setting. We specialize primarily in Japanese and Scandinavian pieces, all of which are directly sourced from these two regions.

We (and our two daughters) lived in Japan for twelve years and have since moved to our other home country, Denmark. We still spend time in Japan regularly to stay connected with our heritage and to source new pieces. Living, blending, and making the most of the two cultures is what we live every day as a family.
