Watanabe Masao, born in Fukushima prefecture in 1917, was a famous Sosaku (creative) Kokeshi artisan. After relocating to America, Watanabe began his craft in the early 1950s, and made many works that are still collected domestically and internationally.
Condition: Good vintage condition with minor signs of wear.
